liked the way it was packaged up so no damage to the product, and so far it works very well and is lighter than we thought and very easy to move around the room and to take up the stairs so all in all very pleased with the cleaner and would recommend to all to buy. If you are thinking of buying you will not be disappointed so go on and treat your carpets to a good clean.

Really easy to use, not too heavy, very effective cleaning. We have an old dog who had several accidents on the carpet, and it came up good as new.

Bought this to replace a Vax Platinum that only lasted 18 months after very little use – so so much better than the vax – better results than the bigger ones you can hire! Would highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Bought to clean carpets in our new home .Easy to set up ,fill and use .Purchase extra liquid .Took two hours to clean lounge area and what a result .Carpets will last a few more years .Took no time to dry ,just take time to suck as much water out .You can see the colour of the water as to how dirty it was as previous owners had a dog .Smells so much fresher and is definitely a whole lot cleaner .No rushing to take it back to the store so can do a room a day and keep them fresh .Worth the investment as can now do family members houses ,for a fee !!.Will pay for itself in no time .

There is yet to be a stain I cannot remove with this includes baby sick, pet sick, red wine stains and even brought back to life the carpet in front of the sofa. It’s great value don’t think just buy

Bought this to clean all the carpets in my house. Does a better job than hiring a rug doctor as I find them too heavy. This has a roller at the front and fluffs the pile up so easily. Tanks for clean and dirty water much smaller so refilling more often. Wish there was an easier way to clean dirty water tank as not as easy to clean out. Overall I am well pleased with my rug doctor

This works straight out the box, the shampoo is readily available to buy at a local Homebase. Suction is amazing and leaves the carpet clean and so much drier than the machines alleged professional use. Only need to clean three rooms and it has paid for itself.WHAT AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A CLEANER.

I use to clean all my carpets with a Bissell spot cleaner which was ok, but use to leave the carpet wetter than I liked and it took me ages, so I got fed up and done some research on carpet washers that gave the best value for money in the mid range bracket, without getting a commercial one.I have to say using the rug doctor is so much better it has saved my back, and I really enjoy washing the carpets I find it like meditation and I like seeing the progress and seeing the dirty water knowing I am doing a good job, and seeing the final result. I think this is my first review ever, the machine is prebuilt and takes less thank 5 minutes to put together and up and running, if your not the strongest of persons it may be a bit heavy for you weighing 17kg but that weight helps push the machine into the carpet cleaning it a lot better, when using the machine its a pull back action whist pushing the button on top of the handle to release the the cleaning fluid, also there is a dial you can turn on the machine that sprays the cleaning fluid out the back giving it a chances to get deeper into the carpet before it is sucked up, it cleans in straight lines and I like that fact.you will go through quite a bit of cleaning fluid but that does not matter as it getting the carpets clean, emptying the dirty water tank is really easy just undo the lid and pour down the toilet, but be carful where the dirty water goes in from the machine can leak out there and make a mess, but you would have that problem with any design, it holds lots of water and picks most of it up, leaving it just damp to the touch unlike other carpet washers I have used.cleaning the dirty water tank I would recommend filling up the bath with water and submerge it in water and move it back and forth under the water to get the trapped hair and dirt where it goes in.I find it a great peace of kit and will be cleaning my carpets regularly with this device when it does eventually where out I will be sticking with rug doctor and moving to a commercial carpet cleaner, as I love cleaning the carpets and I am thinking on maybe starting a small carpet cleaning business, if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them. I am really happy with thus product and you will not be disappointed, just remember to buy pre-spray carpet cleaner to get them extra nice.
