Sod’s law. Buy a hob. Hob gets delivered, all’s well with the world.Within days, the country goes into lockdown.I’ve opened the box to check everything’s in there but that’s it, it’s sitting on an unfinished carcass waiting for worktops to be delivered & the gas man to lay on a new pipe.If I’m lucky, I might get one or two weeks’ use before the guarantee expires!I know this is a crap review but I hope it cheers some of you, knowing there’s others in a similar predicament.So, here we are, 7 months down the line and I finally get a gas approved chap to install in my, yet to be finished, new kitchen (damn this covid) but there appears to be a problem. Although the hob is solidly installed (I’ve checked the brackets), the main body is rock solid. HOWEVER, the edge all around just doesn’t sit properly and my concern is, when cleaning or with spillage how much water will get under?A foam strip was supplied but this seems to do nothing. My next step is to contact bosch about this.

We are really pleased with this item. It is well made & performs very well. By far the best feature is the large (wok) burner on the side. It is easy to use & there is far more space for larger pots, without inhibiting the remaining spaces for other pots & pans. We feel it was worth spending the extra to get a quality item. We would have preferred the dials to be situated on the side rather than on the front as a safety feature, but that does not change our view on the quality of the hob.

I had a range before my kitchen refurb, I went fir a double oven and hob. I love this hob very easy to keep clean very study. Perfect

Absolutely amazing hob! I had one previously and the wok burner was in the centre so it was always difficult to use the other burners to cook. I’ve been able to cook 2 and even 3 things on this at the same time! Definitely worth the money. Felt flimsy when we first got it but once installed it’s quite solid. My only gripe is it’s very difficult to clean the stainless steel properly as it does seem to mark easily. My last Bosch hob was a little more hard wearing. Apart from that I’m in love with it!

5 fuochi comodi e Ben disposti.. però si sa l acciaio è tosto da lucidare

Il piano cottura Bosch in oggetto è stato scelto come compromesso tra numero di fuochi e compatibilità con le dimensioni attuali del vano tel top nel quale collocarlo. Essendo il top in granito sarebbe stato un lavoro non indifferente allargare l’alloggio per collocare un piano cottura da 90 cm. In questo piano cottura i quattro fuochi classici sono ovviamente un po’ più vicini tra di loro in senso orizzontale ( sinistra-destra ) rispetto ad un normale piano cottura con quattro fornelli, però questo non pregiudica l’uso normale anche con pentole grandi. Stanno un po’ più vicine tra di loro, ma si cucina ugualmente bene. Prima di acquistarlo ho fatto una prova con un modello in cartone per essere sicuro !!Passiamo al quinto fuoco, quello sulla sinistra: ha un tipo di regolazione per le due corone che permette di utilizzarlo anche nel normale uso quotidiano. La sua utilità nell’uso di una bistecchiera in ghisa per la cottura di carne, arrosellire,cottura di verdure “saltate”, far bollire l’acqua per la pasta più velocemente per guadagnare tempo, e altro. Pensavo che questo fornello a doppia corona con regolazione combinata forse sarebbe stato sottoutilizzato, invece no. Ora che c’è si nota quanto fa comodo avercelo. Comoda la regolazione della fiamma a 9 posizioni anche se la regolazione continua non ne farebbe sentire proprio la mancanza: comunque la regolazione a scatti è più precisa per avere il riferimento della fiamma necessaria per ripetere vari tipi di cottura.Sostanzialmente un giudizio sicuramente positivo che mi porta a consigliarne l’acquisto.Ineccepibile il servizio di consegna di Amazon. Come sempre.

Premetto di aver ricevuto il prodotto nej tempi indicati e che presentava un ottimo imballaggio… Quanto al prodotto, posso parlare dell’ esperienza di pochi giorni avendolo ricevuto da poco: bello esteticamente, solide le griglie in ghisa, fantastico il sistema di select flame e davvero utile il fuoco a tripla corona spostato sulla sinistra in modo da utilizzare lo spazio dell’ intero piano cottura… quanto alla pulizia non ho notato particolari differenze rispetto ai miei precedenti piani cottura in acciaio, nel senso che necessita dei specifici prodotti per inox… non sono d’ accordo con le recensioni già presenti circa una mancanza di solidità del prodotto: essendo un piano cottura semifilo top deve necessariamente avere un bordo perimetrale di pochi mm, il che pertanto non denota scarsa solidità del prodotto… infine, potendo essere un’ informazione utile per altri, il piano cottura è entrato nell’ incavo del top della mia cucina che ha una profondità di 48 cm( sulla scheda tecnica bosch è indicato come necessario una profondità di 48-49 cm)
