Had a few Panasonic combies now, this one is all round very good, quiet also. Highly recommend for one to two person use, not family who would want a 27 litre……

It’s slightly larger than my previous, basic, microwave but the simple lines mean it fits in to the kitchen neatly and it’s really wary to keep clean and dust free.Having no turntable is fantastic. So much easier to use and even easier for cleaning. No turntable to constantly come off runners either. The fold down door is really practical and I love that there is an immediate, safe surface to put hot things down on to if needed when lifting out of the oven.Microwave at 1000 watt is powerful but I haven’t had any issues with over heating things so far.I haven’t used the grill or grill oven combination so far but the oven is excellent. Added bonus for me that I hadn’t thought about is that the oven is always on timer so no more food burnt because of me forgetting about it! It heats up quickly and so much more economical than my previous full size gas oven. The oven tray is solid and fits very well, and grill frame also feels robust and should last well.Controls are very easy to use though confess to not having trued most of the fancy settings. The oven is virtually silent in use unlike my previous gas oven that always had a fan running. With this the fan only comes on when cooking time ends and doesn’t keep run for an age. Just til you take the food out.I followed suggestion a friend recently gave me and replaced my gas cooker with this oven microwave grill combo plus a separate, small induction hob. It is so much neater than a cooker would have been, the arrangement is great and I can lay things out to suit me. It’s so much more economical to run. Not only that but even with the price of this microwave oven it was way cheaper than very basic cookers. I am really enjoying cooking with this and feel much less guilty about wasting energy.Very happy customer.

So far, so good. At the time of writing, we’ve had this flatbed microwave oven for just over a month and early results are pretty amazing regarding the microwave itself. I haven’t tested the ‘conventional’ oven element or the grill part yet but it’s only a matter of time, and it’s useful to know there’s a back up available in case our gas cooker decides to stop working. Having no rotating turntable is a real novelty and strange to get around initially; the brain says there should be one but the end results are pretty amazing. We’ve experienced none of the overspills associated with a turntable microwave, presumably because the food is not being forced to go round and round and therefore less opportunity to cause a tidal wave. The cooking of rice is especially ingenious as there’s an automatic setting for it on the control panel, once the order of programming it has been memorised. The end result is the fluffiest rice we’ve ever had when cooking it in a microwave.I was a bit concerned about ordering such a big item to be delivered, but it was well wrapped inside a well-structured cardboard box and I even think it was delivered a day or so earlier than expected. The instructions are easy enough to follow and the microwave comes with a tray (for conventional oven use) and a rack (I think for use with the grill element); the only thing missing was a sales invoice which is required by Panasonic in case of a breakdown within the one year guarantee time. A quick email to the seller via Amazon soon sorted that one out.The microwave takes up about the same space on the kitchen worktop as our old beast, but this Panasonic does come with exacting distance measurements that could make things iffy under wall-mounted cupboards and side walls, so please bear that in mind before you buy.All in all we are pleased with this microwave thus far, and if it lasts as long as our previous one (32 years!!) then that will easily see us out in terms of time left on this mortal coil.

At last a microwave without that damnable glass turntable that I could never get to sit correctly after removing it for cleaning. It was the bane of my life, now it is gone forever.

Love this oven so far so good the only thing you need to be aware of I find when baking the oven can be a little to hot so I need to reduce the temperature but that can happen with any new oven 5stars plus well pleased

I like the bigger capacity of the microwave and it is very quiet when cooking.

I’ve not actually owned a microwave before, so nothing to compare this too, plus I didn’t expect to use it very often… yet I now use it everyday! I’ve mainly only used it for reheating food, defrosting and making porridge in the mornings, so not used any of the other features yet, but from what I can garner it seems to be quite a capable device.I’ve not had any food related mishaps or explosions yet, but it looks like it’s easy to clean due to the flat bottom design, not to mention that it’s quite cavernous, it’s like having a Tardis sitting in the corner of the kitchen. talking of cleaning, it’s worth noting that it generally needs a wipe down inside after use as it gathers a lot of condensation inside (but maybe that’s a usual thing with microwaves, I don’t know) although that stops your kitchen steaming up I guess.Writing this has made me peckish, maybe now is a good time to try that jacket potato recipe.

This is an excellent microwave, I’m really pleased with its appearance and operational use. One outstanding feature for a free-standing microwave is a pull-down door. For the 10% of us who are left-handed, it is a must and there are actually few of these products with this feature (most have right-hinged doors). Secondly, the flat bed (no turntable) is so much better – easier to clean, much more space inside and better for large dishes. Thirdly, the controls are easy to manage and clear. One tiny, tiny drawback: the door has dark glass and the internal light is dim, so if you are someone who needs to watch your food while it’s cooking (?), then put the room lights on and wear your glasses (as a previous reviewer suggested).

Came close to not buying this Microwave due to some negative reviews regarding the burning instruction labels around the door but decided to go ahead anyway as we like Panasonic products. Before using the Microwave we removed these labels which are not really needed as it turns out that the display will tell you what to do anyway. First use was to heat my soup which I forgot to cover. This was very messy, good job this oven is very easy to clean now I know why my wife wants the kitchen to herself. Easy to use, beeps when ready, even tells you when to open the door. Great oven, can easily recommend.
