Over 140 Years of Floorcare Innovation
In 1876, Melville and Anna Bissell owned a crockery shop in which dust and breakages was a daily occurrence. So Melville developed a carpet sweeping machine and soon, were selling far more carpet sweepers than crockery. To this day, we are still family owned so we know what it means to make a house a home. That’s why BISSELL have designed a complete collection of innovative products for real messes we make.

I recently purchased the Bissell Carpet Cleaner and I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. This lightweight and portable option is perfect for keeping my carpets looking fresh and clean. Weighing in at 8kg, it is easy to maneuver around my home and can be easily stored when not in use.One of the things I love most about this cleaner is its powerful suction system. It effectively removes dirt and stains from my carpets, leaving them looking like new. The included attachments, such as the stair tool and crevice tool, make it easy to reach tight spaces and corners. The water tank holds enough cleaning solution to cover a large area, and the suction system effectively removes the dirty water and debris, leaving my carpets dry in a short amount of time. One of the standout features of this cleaner for me was its ability to deep clean my carpets, removing ground-in dirt and stains that regular vacuuming can’t remove. Also it has great reviews from other users and many commented on how easy it was to use, and how well it cleaned their carpets.I appreciate the safety features that the cleaner includes, such as a safety shut-off switch and a heat-sensitive safety valve. It also has a convenient power cord that can be easily wrapped and stored.Overall, I highly recommend the Bissell Carpet Cleaner for anyone in need of a lightweight and portable option for cleaning carpets. It’s been a game changer in my home and it’s great for removing dirt and stains, and is easy to use. The product itself is great and had a lot of positive feedback, so it’s a safe option to buy and have satisfaction.

This was bought to replace the same model which didn’t survive falling down the stairs. It cleans really well and the attachments for furniture and stairs are a must. Have bought several carpet cleaners over the years and have found Bissell to be the best.

I was fed up of scrolling reviews until I came across this.. having had Vax (useless) paying annually for carpet cleaning.. I settled on the Bissell.Firstly it’s heavy especially when fully loaded to be used.. reviews say no instructions.. booklet is pictures for assembling, it’s not rocket science and it was easy.. I did a quick ytube video that I googled for a general idea of use.. they are basically all the same in principle..Large dirty water tank, but about a third from the bottom there’s a line that says full !! It won’t keep sucking when you reach this line, so a fair bit of emptying is needed for a lot of carpet.. that said … Squeeze the trigger on push to release the cleaning fluid, let got a pull back to suck up the dirt.. hand attachment for furniture, stairs isn’t great, it worked, but I would have liked a studier brush.. I purchased it for carpets mainly.. I’ve not got steep stairs so I was able to manipulate the machine but the hose wouldn’t be long enough for a steeper incline and you wouldn’t be able to balance the machine full to complete the job singlehandedly..I did 3 large rugs, excellent results.. lounge, bedrooms, hall and landing.. I had a couple of bad stains and water marks from previously trying to clean.. these obviously took repeated goes to get out..But they came out.. I used the deep clean mode.. on all the carpets and I now intend to use the express mode every couple of months to refresh them.. forget the gym this is a good workout 💪🏼 just offer to do friend’s and family carpet’s 😅.. a good all round purchase

My new vax leaked by the motor so was promptly returned and I ordered this Bissell which arrived the next day. So much better than the Vax. More expensive but I feel it’s worth it. Easy to use and the carpets came up great… 5 years of use without a wash. Recommend it

This machine is sturdy and very well made. The results are brilliant. It is quite heavy to use (a bit heavier than a good quality vacuum cleaner) and takes a bit of getting used to. Sadly the instructions which are just pictures are abysmal. Fortunately there is a good telephone help line, and we were advised that whilst to activate the solution the trigger should be on, but has to come off when in reverse for the suction mechanism to work. The Bisssell is worked back and forth like a vacuum cleaner. It’s rather noisy, somewhat louder than a vacuum cleaner but the Power Clean is probably used for longer periods so the noise is more apparent. It’s worth getting an extra solution before you start depending upon how much you plan to clean. A small amount is supplied with the machine which would do maybe 2 rooms depending on the size. The carpet is left slightly damp but dried in 2-3 hours although it’s a good idea to leave as long as possible before putting furniture back. We did ours with the central heating on. There is little or no smell. The work can be done by one person although moving the furniture can be a two man job! The results are really excellent, several pet stains (and one faint tea stain) on a white carpet were completely cleared. With exception of the instructions highly recommended.

This Bissel carpet cleaner did a great job! Having dogs in the house, this cream rug gets dirty quickly. With one clean it was back to cream again! Very easy to use, would really recommend it!

Like the ease of use, is also easy to clean, and makes a good job of rugs and smaller items when using the hand tool.

I’ve been craving a carpet cleaner since having kids, ones at uni now!!!!! But since the youngest age 9 needed a new best friend as grandparents trusted dog past and we ended up with a new furry house member a dog of our own, a carpet cleaner became a must. Tbf to the critter he doesn’t shed much (bordoodle) but however no-one wants a carpet stinking of wet dog. I dreamt of the vax, but had borrowed a rug dr and bissel while cursing the little accidents a pup has and the dirty protests from our elderly cat, while getting used to the new peasant to attack and dominate. The bissell one beat the rug dr by a country mile, lighter, cleans better and left my carpet drier. This one is a better model than i borrowed (and made me forget about the expensive vax)and honestly is fabulous. I have a busy house so my poor carpets have suffered, scouts trekkingin camp, pre teens with makeup and pets that (well dog adorable they are just whiffy)this one tackles them all. I love my Bessie the bissell

Worth what you pay for, it takes longer to dry than it says but considering that the sun hardly hit the cleaned areas is completely understandable.

My 5 year old lounge carpet was ready to rip up, due to stupidly buying light grey carpets with 3 small children and 2 dogs, we’ve also had building works done all summer. This carpet cleaner is amazing I didn’t even think it would touch it and after only going over it once it looks almost new again. I’ve had vaxs before but they don’t even compare to this
