on time very easy to fit and easy to use

  2. John Walton

I’m no chef, but this hob has changed my life! I had a really old grubby electric hob and a friend of mine recommended getting an induction. To be honest I’d never heard of this before but the way he described it to me I couldn’t resist. He said “you can cook on it, then 30 seconds later put your face on it and it would be totally safe.”After hearing this, I instantly purchased this and I am not disappointed. It took 10 minutes to install and I was ready to go. I made the mistake of not realising that my stainless steel pans would no longer work so I went ahead and purchased a set of amazon basics. Once they arrived I have been cooking on this ever since. The product is truly fantastic. It’s so easy to use, unlike an electric hob, you can jump up and down temperatures and it is instant. If it’s boiling over, lower the temp and it instantly stops.I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this. It does get hot and I won’t be putting my face on it, but the heat is only generated by the eventual heat of the pan itself. The timer is really good and easy to set and the touch sensitive buttons work great. Nothing but a 5 star from me, for the price I don’t think this can be beaten.

  3. Great Flow

Seems to work well so far. Arrived promptly. Slight difficulty to fit as had to enlarge worktop hole from previous hob and to get an electric junction box as impossible to access the original wiring box without a full oven and cupboard dismantle. All due to previous poor installation in our flat. Relatively easy to overcome and I got a very good fitting in the end. Hob seems to work very well after understanding the manual and testing our pots, and certainly it looks very good and is a far better hob than our previous cheap ceramic hob. Very pleased with the price and upgrade. I should have done it earlier! A great kitchen improvement and makes cooking a real pleasure again.

  4. Kathy T.

Without doubt the very best kitchen appliance I have ever bought.Aesthetically beautiful, always clean, shiny black glass. The surface never gets hot enough to burn, so wipe over is all that is ever needed. Rather than losing work surface space, you gain it instead. Efficient and CONTROLLABLE heat, no checking to see how the flames are, no wondering how long it is going to be before the ring comes up to heat, the ‘heat is on’ as soon as you place your (stainless steel) pan on the ring, at the exact heat setting you choose, variable from 1-9, with even heating of all of the base of the pan.Would strongly recommend that if you are considering buying an Induction Hob for the first time, that you take the time to understand how it works, it is fundamentally different from gas, ceramic or electric, but in each case it is better! Thanks Gionien, I Love itHappy to answer any questions about this product.

  5. Not Dunroamin

I did a load of research for a Bosch induction hob to match our new Bosch oven. But decided I did not want to spend alot of money if I was unsure I would get used to induction cooking. I went for this because it had a very small logo. Got to say I am delighted. The induction cooking makes a huge difference, this is easy to use and for anyone unsure the ‘H’ is mentioned in the instructions and means the hob is still ‘hot’. I have read reviews for induction hobs at 3,4 and 5hundred plus pounds with all sorts of problems from the touch sensitivity to the rings to close together. I can get my extra large soup pot on here with other pots too so there is lots of room. A great buy!

  6. Martin L

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this to replace a 15 year old Bosch induction hob. It was very easy to install as everything was already there. I had to remove the spring clips as the cut out was a little too small. It’s very simple to use and seems to heat up a lot quicker than the Bosch. I couldn’t hear any noise until the fan kicked in and then it was just a low buzz.I particularly like the fact that you can use the boost on all Zones, the Bosch only allowed it on the front two and even then you couldn’t use it if you had the back zone on.Controls are simple and very responsive.Very pleased and amazed at the price. It’s equal to, or better than, hobs at 3 times the price.

  7. Jan

This item has replaced an old fashioned, inefficient hob. It looks good and it’s making a great difference because it’s easy to clean and simple to use. It heats up really quickly, and the heat is easy to control. This hob will be much more economical than the old one. I can’t rate the installation process because that was done by someone else, but there didn’t seem to be any difficulty and it didn’t take long to do. Overall, I’m very happy with the item.

  8. Shot2bits

You know what, I have bought dozens if not hundreds of items from Amazon but this represents the best value for money item I ever bought. Easy to instal, took me 15 minutes, and that was only because the brass tags they had fitted on the cables wouldn’t fit in the cable connector I was using. I chopped them off and twisted the wires together, job done. The hob is like using gas. It’s quick to boil a pan of water, much quicker than the ceramic hob it replaces. Really good hob, highly recommend, if you want an upgrade, get this hob!

  9. anghunt

Bought to replace our previous cracked Hob, very impressed for the price of £150 when others were a lot more.Being used to an induction hob it is as easy to use as my previous one, love the function of fast Induction for bring a pan of water up to boil super quick.Like all glass top hobs they all mark quite quickly, however it soon springs back to life with some induction hob cleaner.Very pleased with my purchase so far, but did take out the 3 year guarantee to be on the safe side.

  10. R F Hackland

The workings were at least 30 mm larger than our previous hob but this is easily adjusted, the securing i liked as it was not a bracket fitting so having to clamber inside the cabinet, just simple spring clips which gripped the sides of the cut out. Would of preferred that a plug had been fitted on purchase.
