I did a lot of looking around and researching before ordering this air fryer and can honestly say I’m so happy I chose this one… Looks stylish… So easy to set up and use… Even for me who is a complete novice to cooking…This will most definitely make life so much easier and expand my range of meals… I looked on YouTube for recipe ideas and you simply cannot go wrong…Healthy delicious dishes in minutes…You cannot go wrong…I think it’ll be the most used piece of kitchen equipment I have ever bought…It’s quite honestly magnificent….Easy to use.. Easy to clean… Fantastic quality and value… As good as the famous brand which costs much more….I cannot recommend it enough….

I was fortunate enough to buy this item when it was on special offer, but it’s worth every penny of the current price. So much so that when I spied it on offer again recently, I bought a second for when my current one gives up the ghost. Yes, it’s that good!Compared to other air fryers I’ve tried, the Vortex simply cooks food faster and better.Having used it for over a year now, it’s still going strong with no sign of any wear to the non-stick coatings (it has been looked after – no dishwashers, no scourers, soaking rather than scrubbing etc), and the only “wear” is where I dropped the fully loaded drawer on the floor and a small part of the plastic handle broke off. It made a right mess of the floor, but only slight cosmetic damage to the Vortex.Things I like about it – it’s pretty simple to use – set the temp on one side and the time on the other. There’s presets but I’ve never touched them.You can throw food in from cold, or follow the instructions and wait for it to heat up at which point it tells you to add food. It also tells you when to turn food over, although if you ignore this it carries on cooking it anyway.Smoke/steam/heat is all well contained. The fryer lives under cupboards and there’s only minimal grease on the underside of the cupboards from 12 months of use.While there are bigger air-fryers now, I consider that if you need anything larger than the Vortex, it’s probably better to use a good fan oven. This air fryer for me is the perfect size for couples or small families.Highly recommended!

Absolutely love it ! Great size , I am able to bake fabulous cakes and scones . The grill, reheating, airfyer all work brilliant. No need to use an oven anymore . Perfect for just the two of us or a small family.It is also easy to clean and controls are easy to navigate.

I had thought about purchasing an air fryer for several months before I finally decided to take the plunge and buy one, then after several days of researching what was required I decided on the Instant Pot vortex Plus 7.6ltr Dual basket, It was, without doubt, my best purchase of the year in Dec 2022.I specifically wanted a dual basket fryer as I wanted the option of cooking different foods at the same time, the Vortex plus does this with consummate ease as it has a sync finish function which allows you to have both baskets finishing at the same time regardless of the amount of cooking time or temperature each basket needs, it also has a sync finish for both baskets to finish simultaneously if you want to bulk cook both baskets with the same food, (cook fries or whatever).I like the versatility of it to air fry, bake, roast, reheat, grill, and dehydrate at the touch of a button, I also like the fact the basket light comes on with one minute of remaining cooking time so you can see how things are doing and it also has several audible warnings, (Add food/turn food/finish etc) so far I’ve only used two of the cooking functions, air fryer and reheat, I also wanted the widow option so I could see how things were cooking without opening the drawers which is easy when you switch the light on, just one of the reasons I bought this one rather than the Ninja.My first attempt at using it was frozen spicy breaded chicken strips and frozen potato wedges in one basket and some small petite pains in the other basket, I won’t go into timings/temps here as there is a small learning curve to absorb but there is a lot of info available on you tube etc.The chicken was crisp on the outside but moist and tender, the wedges were nice and crisp on the outside as well, along with crisp hot crusty rolls which remained soft on the inside, all set to finish at the same time effortlessly.I have only had it for three days so far but have also done croissants, pakora, pigs in blankets, baked potato’s (with slightly crispy skins) which all turned out really well and very tasty, my oven is now redundant as far as cooking for myself is concerned.It’s just so much quicker and easier to do with the air fryer and far quicker/easier to clean than an oven, the Non stick baskets and insert trays are dishwasher safe but I’ll clean them in soapy water for a longer lifespan.My only criticism would be there is no guidance book for cooking ie:- How long to air fry raw chicken/Frozen chicken, fresh/frozen/chips, frozen potato wedges, raw fish, etc etc, manufacturers really have a duty to supply such basic information with an item like this from my perspective.That said, I strongly recommend the Instant Pot Vortex, if you are in the market for this type of gadget, it is a fantastic option to have in the kitchen, and cheaper to operate than a conventional oven, I really do wish I’d bought one sooner but we learn something new everyday as they say.

Our 1st air fryer bought to replace our electric cooker to free up space for a tumble dryer in small kitchen. Chose this one for being dual control or single drawer as required so will cook a standard-sized pizza. Have been mostly air frying bacon, rissoles & veggy bakes so nothing ambitious – yet. The next challenge will be a spatchcock chicken with roast potatoes & veg then my wife will bake cakes.This air fryer is pretty simple to operate: press the centre control twice & it alternates from single to dual controls. All the other controls are touch sensitive so the panel is smooth therefore easy to clean. You select the function that defaults to Air Fryer then select Time or Temp then rotate to change. A minor quibble is the rotary control is linear rather than being rate-sensitive so can take a while to get to the required setting.The centre divider pulls up but do so gently otherwise the silicone corner pieces need reseating. The base plate has silicone feet & to hinging metal hoops in the middle of either side – removing it will give an extra 8mm of depth. To set each side independently, you press the “1” or “2” button then set as before but you can then choose to duplicate the other side’s settings or set one independently then sync so they finish together. There’s no auto-sensing with this model unlike the more expensive Ninja equivalent but is excellent value. As for results – they are good with oven chips coming out crispy. How even food cooks depends on your willingness to shake, stir, turn or baste. Although it early days, the results do reduce cooking times by 40-60%.Any downsides? Cleaning after each use is needed. If new to air frying, some accessories will help such as a meat thermometer, racks & silicone inserts. I’m very pleased with this highly flexible model so recommend it.

Fantastic product, so easy to use. Just choose the function you want, set the temp and timer and start, no array of buttons that are hard to fathom. Cooks beautifully and looks very neat on the work surface. Absolute bargain on offer. Recommended.

I waited two years to assess the longevity and usefulness of air fryers and last week I took the plunge on this Vortex air fryer and couldn’t be more overjoyed. Easy to operate and cooks efficiently. Jacket potatoes and roast beef came out looking like they could have been served in a high end restaurant and tasted delicious!My only crticism is that it didn’t come with a receipe book.

At first I was a bit sceptical of air fryers but I wouldn’t go back. Very easy to use, it takes some time to master. Definitely to the manufacturers suggested first cook with empty oven as as the initial plastic smell persisted I re-wiped with a wet cloth and cooked some slices of lemon and the odour disappeared. The capacity of the drum is really good and can hold a lot of food. Also the air filter at the back ensures the kitchen is not overpowered with odours. Would highly recommend it.

It’s a great money saving machine, with only a spoon of oil it will fry a very huge amount of fries in no time,so you save money and wastage for oil, it’s also easy to clean it take literally 1 min with only a humid sponge with a little of soap and then dry it out with a cloth. It change your cooking view of things. We love it!
