    I like how powerful this blender is and that you have a choice of speeds, and also a pulse option. I use my Kenwood for making smoothies and it does this perfectly. Lovely big jug, so you can make smoothies for your friends at the same time. Very easy to take apart and clean in no time. I haven’t tried crushing ice, but it says it can do that too. I’m rather protective of the blades so will just use it for my blending. I add parsley and herbs to my smoothies and everything gets chopped up and disappears into the mix. I would highly recommend.

    This is the third jug blender I have owned, first from Kenwood, and the best yet. First of all it has suction pads on the base which work well at holding it in place when in operation so you don’t have to hold it still yourself while it is working. The blade base unscrews for easy cleaning and the whole appliance is easy to clean. It is fairly noisy, but I have yet to see a blender that isn’t. So far the only thing that has tested its ability to blend are frozen strawberries when making a smoothie. I guess I just need to keep it whizzing for longer so that these get fully broken down. For everything else it has been quick and efficient. If it lasts as long as my previous blender (12 years) then I will be happy. Since Kenwood usually makes things to last, I have high hopes.

    I bought this as it’s just like the original one we had which literally wore out.I just wanted a blender that was best for blending soup which we make every couple of days. I did not need a singing and dancing fancy one . A straightforward down to earth no fiddly dials no instructions altogether ordinary blender!VERY pleased with it.Off to make soup now…..
