    The media could not be loaded. The reviews for this iron confused me, it seems a lot of people bag e a really basic misunderstanding of how to read instructions, because once you’ve done that, you don’t get water spots.The amount of steam is crazy, even to the point I thought the tank was leaking, only to realise it was the steam coming up from under the ironing board and condensing on the tank.The cords are good length, it’s super quiet, you have to decalc / clean it (again in the operators manual) before you use it and this flushes the gunk out.The hand unit is quite heavy but insanely smooth, it literally glides over fabric.The base isn’t heavy, and is easy to move around. I love that there is an on off switch on the unit and that it turns off automatically when not in use , the number of times I’ve woken up with the iron still on is scary.All in all super impressed, not all but a lot of the reviews I think would be even higher if people understood how to use the dang thing, it’s just a case of understanding this isn’t like a normal iron, it operates slightly differently to how you are probably used to.I use the iron for quilt making, and this requires extremely accurate pressing and steam control, so if it’s good enough for this, it’s good enough for your sheets, Karen.

    This replaced my 15 year old Philips generator iron. I was amazed at the power of the steaming, so much so that it was too much in the heatwave! This is an excellent iron. Automatically adapting to whatever material you are ironing is brilliant. The only thing I’m not impressed with is the steam tube tidy. Firstly, there is nowhere to put the electric cable and secondly the place given for the steam cable is so difficult to use. The cable is very stiff and solid so trying to curve it into the specified grooves is really hard to do especially as I’m arthritic. I wish that being a high end iron they had designed that part better. Of course it may not bother many, but I wanted a smaller iron than I had, which could be stored easily. It does fit that criteria, but extremely difficult to do for me. It’s a nice light weight and because of the iron lock to the base, easy to carry around. I’m hoping it lasts me like my previous Philips iron did. I would recommend this as it does speed up ironing and do a great job.

    Hey, we got this iron. My wife used it when she lent it to us from our neighbour one day when our iron broke. She liked it, so I promised to buy it for her. I saw this on sale, but it wasn’t the exact one she used. When it arrived, she was so excited and surprised. It looks nice, and she loves the colours gold and blue. It’s a great iron, and I even enjoy ironing with it sometimes. I don’t iron that often, but it’s so easy when I do. It has a self-cleaning system, which is incredible for keeping it clean and lasting longer. I can’t believe we didn’t buy this iron sooner. We were living in the dark ages for so many years!

    Bought this because my daughter has a B&B so do her laundry and wanted something a bit more robust and more steam I do find when it’s on the extra steam basically you need the finger on it constantly and sometime a alarm comes on not sure what this is for ? Good irioning but could be better
