The “Black 23 Litre 900W Microwave” (Model RHM2366B) from “Russell Hobbs” is a smart looking multi-functional microwave and grill oven.The first thing to point out about the microwave is that it’s a large family-size one. It has a full 23 lire capacity, which should easily accommodate most plates and serving dishes.You’ll probably be a tad surprised with how large the box is when it arrives. The microwave itself is quite sizeable, however, within the box you have loads of packaging etc, which really does bulk it out somewhat. However, this does mean that the microwave is highly unlikely to sustain any damage during transit.Once plugged in the microwave is basically good to go. Familiarising yourself with the controls and functions is fairly simple. That said, I do strongly recommend you spend a couple of minutes looking over the instruction manual. This manual is very clear and provided in large type within an A4-sized booklet.Most notably, without having scanned the manual, I wasn’t altogether sure how to run the basic functionality of the microwave. This seems simple, but when you press the “Microwave” button, it displays “P100”. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure what this meant at first. Having looked in the instruction manual, I can see it’s for setting the power level (i.e. the default being 100%). Once you select this using the “Confirm” button, you then just need to select the timer and away you go.The buttons, display and general use of the microwave is all fairly straight forward from here on. The manual of course takes you through all the other options, like the convection cooker which can cook food like a normal oven, between 100 and 190 degrees centigrade.There are also all those fancy preset options, which allow you to have the microwave work at its most ideal rate with certain food types as set out within the manual. I’ve never met anyone who actually uses these preset functions though! But for those that do, you have ten of them!All in all though, I’ve been very impressed with the microwave. It works really well, is an excellent size, is easy to use, and looks good in our kitchen. Highly recommended.

Got it two weeks ago and it has been working wonderfully, easy to operate, not too noisy, unlike my previous microwave. Anyways, russell hobbs products are the best so far 👌

Obviously with something like a microwave then performance and capability comes first but as its an appliance that is always on view then aesthetics for me are really important too and have to say this is definitely a winner on that front – nicest looking microwave have had to date! Very sleek and modern looking with clean lines and I love the mirrored door which looks fantastic.Performance is first class too with all the features you need for a wide variety of options increasing what you can use it for and save a lot of time over using the oven, which I love.There are quite a few different ways of operating it which might seem confusing at first but are very quickly mastered with a quick read through the manual or just simple trial and error and I can use this with my eyes closed now.Have to say I expected this to look bulkier than it does considering its a decent 23 litre capacity but it hides it well and is more than big enough for most needs no matter which setting you are using. I find it reasonably quiet but the ‘ping’ more than loud enough to alert me when a job is done and haven;t found a single fault so far with it after a lot of heavy use over the past 8 weeks and am still thrilled with it so thoroughly recommend!

I like this microwave oven. It does what it was made for. At first I thought it was a little noisy, I have come to realise that the noise when running is just different, now I don’t notice. On opening the box the machine looks smaller than I’m use to but no it does everything I normally use it for and does it well. Needless to say I’m pleased with my purchase.

This 3-in-1 functionality makes it incredibly useful for various cooking tasks.With 5 power levels to choose from, I have complete control over how I want to cook or heat up my food. Whether I’m defrosting something delicate or quickly reheating leftovers, I can adjust the power level accordingly.The microwave comes with 10 autocook settings, including defrost. These settings make cooking a breeze, especially for someone like me who isn’t a culinary expert. I can simply select the appropriate setting, and the microwave takes care of the rest.Operating the microwave is straightforward, thanks to its user-friendly interface and intuitive controls. The buttons are clearly labeled, and I didn’t even need to refer to the manual to start using it.I’ve been impressed with the cooking performance of this microwave. If you’re in the market for a reliable microwave that offers more than just basic functions, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

I was super surprised at how compact this microwave was but actually suits my kitchen quite well. Very simple to use and pick up easily by all in the family. I much prefer the dial type microwaves like this so you’re not continuously having to press the same button to set it correctly.Well trusted and reliable brand like Russell Hobbs so I had high hopes and was not disappointed. The design is really attractive with the mirror finish and suits a modern kitchen (although attracts a lot of fingerprints very easily!). Heats quickly and well compared to other brands that I’ve owned with the same power.
