Does this camera support 5Ghz Wifi?

This outdoor security camera only supports connecting to 2.4Ghz Wifi, not 5Ghz Wifi.


Why there is no setting after inserting a SD card?

This is because the SD card is not recognized by the camera. You can use your computer to format the card into FAT 32 format, or try a new card.


How long can I use it on a single charge?

1-4months. The battery life depends on the times of the camera wakes up. If you use solar panel to charge battery camera, then it will save you hassle of taking it down and plug it into recharge.


Does Septekon wireless outdoor camera support RTSP/ONVIF/NVR/FTP?

Not support RTSP/ONVIF/NVR/FTP, only support SD card and cloud storage.

    Loving my new camera. Solar powered with a backup battery which means no cables are required to install and your battery is always on standby should the solar panel not be getting enough light (ideal in Scotland). So far the is working perfectly and recording continuously. It claims to be able to recognise the difference between people and animals/cars etc and although I can’t see this… We’ve had no false alarms so it must be pretty accurate. All round a nice compact system that works great and was a breeze to install.

    Very happy with this camera. I’ve replaced an aging Ring Spotlight camera that always struggled connecting to wifi and also had the subscription fees.I wanted a camera that stored footage locally on SD and didn’t need a cloud subscription (You can do that if you want to however)For the price this thing has really impressed me, the set up was super easy and the android app is simple to use and has the features I need. The light is nowhere near as bright as the spotlight camera but it does light up the area well enough for very clear footage at night, on top of the night vision mode. The solar panel has kept the battery at 100% charge even with this cloudy dull weather we have been having. The customer service is great too. Very happy so far.

    Great camera, we use it to monitor hedgehogs in our feeding station. Amazing clear video, battery is full all the time thanks to the solar panel and swift notifications of any action.

    I was amazed with the quality and performance of the Septekon outdoor solar powered camera. It was a breeze to set up with voice commands from the camera as you are setting it up. Brilliant App, which again integrates with the camera’s set up using QR code. Love the App, the camera and the whole bundle. Shocked to receive an email from the manufacturer asking if every thing was ok and if I need any assistance. Well I have never come across such brilliant customer service. Well done Septekon.

    We bought this camera to set up on the fence to view the birds landing on the birdfeeders and it works perfectly. The footage is really good quality and the solar panel so far is keeping the battery topped up. As an added bonus my husband can shout at the greedy magpies and pigeons through the app to stop them stealing all the food 😀
