This little vax is powerful stuff, it really works on small or larger areas. It takes a bit of elbow grease but it’s a good little cleaner, and I decided to spread the payments on Amazon which I didn’t know was possible. Once the option came up I had to go for it to see how it works, and I’ve got a couple of months payment left. No extra interest charged. I know it works on some stains such as tea, battery, etc but so far no success in removing dried in hair dye stains.I bought it when I saw my son measuring up a section of carpet to cut ✂️ out on the floor. He said it was too stained and he wanted to replace it and I thought 😱😱 so I suggested a carpet cleaner. Before using it for the first time, I also bought a Rug Doctor Heavy Stain Pre Treatment, squirt that on the stains for 10 mins then fill the Vax spotwash cleaner with the required amount of water and solution and even myself was surprised at how clean it got those stains out, including black ink stains – pen and marker, food and drinks stains and all sorts of gunge he had in his room. I was so happy when I saw the result, it was easy to use and I knew I got my money’s worth. It’s a handy little cleaner to have, especially if you only want to clean small areas only.For a whole room I’d just hire a carpet cleaner for a few hours, but this is handy to have around the house, especially if one of your kids threaten to cut out a piece of your carpet and underlay. Don’t let them do it, buy this instead.It wasn’t very heavy to move around the house, and I used it upstairs and down. I bought the large tank product without the pet tools for £149.Key points of note:-: easy to use, not too heavy and portable with carry handle: remove tough stains such as tea, ink etc: the hose has powerful suction for getting into those stains: it’s good value for money: spread the payments with no interest charge: larger tank cuts time spend filling at the tap: for heavy stains, first treat with a heavy stain pre treatment first, squirt directly on the stain, leave on for 10-15 mins: can be used on sofas to remove greaseIt comes with a handy little storage base for the hose and storage grips at the back for the cable.I’m still exploring what this handy little cleaner can do, but so far I’m not disappointed. I cannot fault it, it packs a punch!

This cleaner is really good it cleaned my car that was absolutely disgusting because I have dogs and they made a right mess I was sceptical that it would be able to remove the dirt but it removed all the dirt and grim really well it’s easy to carry however it is quite noisy but that’s acceptable because it actually cleans well my only gripe is that it runs out of water quite often but I guess that’s because I had such a dirty car it comes with various nozzles that will get into the nook and cranny’s it also removed nearly all the dog hair , I would recommend this if you’re planning on cleaning the car as it works my car looks like new the only thing I noticed is the seats were damp afterwards however I left windows open for a few hours and they had dried out

So my cat went through a bit of a period of pissing in my hallway for some reason. Seems to have stopped now but did it enough that I wanted to deep clean the whole first half of the hallway of my flat. The usual pet cleaner I used wasn’t enough for how saturated it had become.This is easy to setup though does devour the (fairly expensive) cleaning solutions. It does the job very, very well for cleaning relatively small areas. Definitely not suitable if you wanted to clean your whole house or something (I mean you could but it’d take forever). Glad to have it though for the occasional small area I want to deep clean, used it for some ketchup that got on the carpet the other day too and it worked well for that. My flat had picked up a pervasive smell of cat piss which no one wants but now that’s all gone and it’s eliminated the scent enough (using the pretreatment they sell plus the antibacterial solution) that he hasn’t gone back in those places.If I was gonna do larger areas though or use very regularly I think id look into non vac brand cleaning stuff cause just one tank of water eats like half of the big bottles they sell so that adds up and that tank empties much faster than you’d think.Perfect for what I wanted. You’re better off renting a rug doctor tho if you want to clean a full carpet.

As expected a top quality item which is easy to use and clean. Bought it to clean my settee and chairs. Couldn’t believe the dirt that came out. Everything looks brand new.Very impressed with this product and would highly recommend to anyone wanting an efficient and reliable cleaner. Very portable but sturdy. Used it one evening and furniture was completely dry by morning. Not excessively noisy. Just what you’d expect from any hoover type cleaner.

Made carpet shampoo easy. Did a bedroom, stairs and landing and a mat. Unfortunately it developed a fault, solution spray wouldn’t turn of while trying to dry the carpet. Collected by R M and was replaced within a week.

I never write reviews but I just had to!Performance 10/10Water resistance 10/10Suction 10/10Value for money 10/10Size 10/10It fits perfectly in the cupboard under my stairs, so much better than the upright cleaners in my opinion for accidental spills and pet accidents.My carpet is practically dry after I have finished.You can clean your stairs, rugs, upholstery, car seats etc.It comes with all the attachments you need and cleaning solution too.I went for the pet model which comes with a pre treatment spray, I use this for any spill or stain, not just pet ones.The cleaning solution is rose scented and it leaves a lovely fresh fragrance which isn’t overwhelming.I wouldn’t be without mine!

Vax SpotWash Home spot, splash, pets, wet vacuum unit.This unit is ideal for those oops wet or dry spills that a larger wet vacuum cleaner would be inconvenient. This vax unit is very good quality, small, portable, fits in closet, cupboard, under stairs and can be easily reached for to do the tidy up… washed, dried returned.The tank has 1100ml (1.1 litre) capacity with suction to vacuum any household spills.I find this most useful in cleaning areas (specific locations) where my dogs each have to chew, knaw, or eat treats. As they take time to chew the treats from the rubber-esque toys… there are crumbs.Crumbs are easily removed with daily vacuum cleaning but not thewet onrs. Also the ones with dye in chew items, to dry dog food with sloppy tongues. Mine do occasionally have an oui oui accident. Paper trained, but if one is on the pads, well they do not like to go at the same time. So I get an urgent had to go spot on the carpet. The whirling brush with vax carpet shampoo has it removed very quickly due to great suction and it is properly clean with no smell lingering.It is then a simple empty, flush, rinse out of holding tank, and a quick wash of whirling scrubby brush. I also rinse out the hose. When dry, I reassemble and tuck away until the next usage.I have also used this unit in my cars. Scrubbing muddy carpet spots through to a motion upchuck by one of my dogs or a wee small person – toddler. Pomeranian size dogs, so not much upper chucky but again this vax was/is the perfect size to clean spot and surrounding area.I like this size vax so much and find it so extremely convenient, I purchased a second unit just to keep in our summer house. I highly recommend this unit for it’s excellent quality, value for money, and power suction in a very compact model.

Been wanting a handheld carpet cleaner for a while now to clean the cars interiors. Finally settled on this one especially as I seen it was on offer. Used for the first time today and its absolute quality. Cars interior came up like new. It’s easily portable, it looks great. No real need for any assembly. Not as noisy as some people suggest and the seats and carpets were dry within an hour or 2.Ignore the negative reviews, sometime I think people Don’t use a product correctly and then put it down to the item being no good. I saturated the seats and carpets and if you go at a nice sloe steady pace you can see the dirty water being sragged out the carpets. Give it a 2nd pass over and they are slightly damp after being soaking wet it’s that powerful. You just need to get the angle correct to ensure the nozzle is in the correct position to suck adequately.I liked the little brush attachment so you can soak the area your working on, give it a good scrub with the attached brush and then proceed to remove the dirt. It really is simple to use.Yes the hose could have been a little longer but that may affect performance I suppose. Its plenty long enough if you put it on drivers seat to do passenger seat footwells and seat (and vice versa).The self cleaning is easy, just put an inch of water in tank once finished and hold the hose in the back of machine and turn on. Was surprised to see how much it cleaned the hose.I’d recommend this to anyone. I’m very impressed by it and wish I brought one sooner. Well worth the money.

Well it arrived yesterday and I thought I would try it out. So I done a full large corner sofa over 2 days. It is a spot cleaner after all so I took my time and let it cool down, doing one half of a piece at a time. I don’t want to burn it out…… Well shocked at the dirt mind you. Sofa looked clean and always has throws over it. But what a difference!!! I’m well impressed with it and would highly recommend this Vax spot cleaner, I would advise, don’t try and over stretch the hose and let it cool plenty. Also you will refil and empty plenty lol very small water compartments, as it’s a spot cleaner it’s not made for big jobs. Oh and buy ear plugs.
