I didn’t want to setup yet another app to view this – so was very glad that this supports a simple RTP feed that I could connect to. The app does add quite a few features though, including push alerts for recognition of things such as people or cars, but be aware that the recognition isn’t great, and if you want real AI recognition that is a paid extra service as I assume it is run from their data centre.It has the abiltiy to record to a local micro SD card, which is handy as a backup if needed. Weirdly it includes all the bits to make the ethernet cable water tight but not for the DC power cable, and it doesn’t appear to work with PoE. Not a major issue, but you do need to make sure it has a socket it can plug into.Overall it does a good job for the price point, and adds a handy wifi located camera for me looking across the back of the garden.

This is a review for the ZOSI C188 – 2.5K Wi-Fi 4MP outdoor security camera.I have to start off by saying that for the price, the build quality and features on this camera are really impressive. Yes there are better security cameras out there, but not in this price bracket.The camera arrives with everything required for installation, after which you connect the camera to your Wi-Fi (2.4Ghz only) and download the Zosi Smart app either on your PC or smartphone (Android/IOS).I opted to scan the QR code in the small instruction booklet and from there I download the app via the Google play store.Registering on the Zosi Smart app took several attempts, but it did work eventually.Once into the app, click the “Plus icon” (top right) and follow the instruction to locate your new device.The app has so many useful features like, Remote access from anywhere using Wi-Fi or mobile data, Advanced motion detection, Instant “Push Alerts”, Two-Way audio, SD card (Up to 128GB) or Cloud back-up service (subscription required for cloud service), Playback search for specific time & date, Multi-User viewing, Alexa smart voice control, It can support max 16 cameras (1/4/9/16 channel) of live video simultaneously.The camera itself is 4 Mega Pixels (Not 4K) the output is 2.5K with Full-Colour night vision (Black & White night vision is also available) and has a 50ft long IR range.It has a built-in spotlight and an alarm/siren which operate using the motion detection feature.The camera is mains powered, so it’s not truly wireless, only the video/audio feed is wireless (Via Wi-Fi).It connects using 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi (Not 5GHZ) or can also connect via an Ethernet cable.It has a microphone for 2-Way Audio, an SD card slot for recording and has an IP66 weather-proof rating.I have installed the camera above my garage to monitor my driveway (see my review photos) and I am delighted with the video quality (daytime/night).The app has so many useful features and although it’s not the best looking app or easiest to navigate, it does it’s job nicely.Other reviews seem to be mixed, some rating it 1 star whilst others giving it 5 stars.I hate when they lump all the reviews for 4 different items together into one, although I do realise that the reviews can be filtered by product name, but even so !!My verdict is . . . 5 stars !!

Setup/Install: Set up process is very simple. It comes with a mount attachment which is very simple and straightforward to attach to the camera. Then you will need to instal an app to connect your camera to wifi. The camera also has ethernet connectivity.Product quality: The product quality is really good. It looks and feels like a quality product. The plastic body material is strong and sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The mount is made up of metal and it is very strong.Functions: The app is very user friendly and the connection process is simple. There are lot of functions in the app such as you can view the live footage, access the stored footage, record or capture picture etc. Since the power source is not just open wire and you have a power adapter you can connect this indoor too.Experience/usage: The picture quality is amazing. Very sharp, clear and crisp.Value for money: This is amazing value for money considering price range of around £59.99Conclusion: User friendly app with good functions, great picture quality and very easy to instal

Simple to setup with the option of either Ethernet (PoE) or WiFI to choose from.I have been pleasantly surprised by the movement detection, which is really hit and miss on my Reolink cameras. I have not had the opportunity to check vehicle detection as the camera is pointing towards the garden, but I’m sure if this camera detects a vehicle then I will really want to know about it as soon as possible!!The app is a bit naff, but works fine – others have complained of crashes, but none with me so far. Integration with Alexa is an added bonus, as is the ability to use an SD card.

considering price the camera is very good.connecting to wifi was very easy and it also has ethernet port.picture quality looks very nice to me tbh. even night vision was better than some more expensive ones.will see how it behaves in time (any connection issues or issues due to rain and cold etc) but for now i think this is a great solution with a very reasonable price.

This is a decent wifi camera. Easy to get it up on the wall and connecting to WiFi with the app is straight forward. If you have an ethernet cable then there is a port for that too.Quality feels good. The app is easy to use and intuitive.Now, the most important part – image quality. It’s impressive. Probably one of the better cameras I’ve tested in terms of video quality. Very happy with how it’s performing.
