This is perfect for anyone looking for an excellent carpet washer on a budget. The reviews seemed pretty positive, so I decided to give this a whirl. A bit of backstory – last year we got a dog, and we have a beige carpet in the living room, which is useless at withstanding the muddy paws and neverending dog traffic that’s constantly going in and out of the house. The carpet was filthy, and starting to drive me round the bend. I decided to purchase this, and believe me, I couldn’t wait to give it a try. It’s easy to set up, easy to refill and empty the dirty contents, and it has worked like a dream! It is lightweight enough, which was one of the main reasons for wanting this model, and it took me about an hour to do a large carpet and a dining room rug. It is superb! It’s a bit loud, which I was expecting, but our dog wasn’t 😉, but for what it does the noise didn’t matter. It got some really tough stains out of the carpet, and dirt that had been ingrained, so I was over the moon with the results. The carpet looks like new! It’ll come in so handy for future messes! I’m going to get the spot washer for the stairs, as this one won’t be able to do them. I’m only stating that because it asks me in the review section whether it’s for stairs, which seems daft. Anyway, for large floor carpets and rugs, I would highly recommend this carpet cleaner.

The media could not be loaded. I usually get my carpets professionally cleaned twice a year because I’m a foster carer and have a dog so they are constantly muddy shoes and muddy paws running up and downstairs (despite the no-shoes upstairs rule!). However, getting them cleaned professionally is very expensive and I have to stay indoors all day while the carpet cleaner is here. Also the months in between cleans I feel miserable about the state of my carpets and embarrassed as social workers frequently have to go upstairs to check bedrooms etc. I often scrub them by hand. I got so fed up I decided to see if I could buy my own carpet cleaning machine. Chose this one as it said it was lightweight and wasn’t too expensive. It is now my favourite toy. Very easy to assemble, clear instructions. Very lightweight (it’s smaller, more compact and less heavy than my vacuum cleaner). I could not believe the dirt it got out of my living room rug which looked clean to the eye. Had to wait to try it upstairs on my heavily soiled landing carpet as the kids were in bed when I opened it. Wasn’t expecting it to get out all the heavy soiling as it was really bad but in 5-10 minutes my carpet looked so much better. It would have been quicker if I hadn’t been holding my phone to film. This little machine will save me a fortune and I can now clean my carpets whenever I want. It also is east to empty the dirty water tank and it doesn’t leave the carpet soaking wet. I Just LOVE it!!

Very easy to use, lightweight, compact and not too noisy. Huge improvement over any other carpet cleaners I used in the past. Very impressed with the performance, it effectively and efficiently cleaned all my rugs and carpets, and doesn’t leak during the use like others do. With multiple pets at home, this purchase felt like a win lottery

I’m very happy with this carpet cleaner, it’s light, so easy to assemble and empty. I have a disability so being lightweight is perfect for me. It does a brilliant job, ok the water container needs filling more often than larger models, but that’s not a problem for me. I can recommend this model, and the price is very good at the moment.

This little carpet washer has delivered.Washes my wool carpets really well and doesn’t leave them too wet either.Was skeptical about the size but it has proved an asset in that it is easy to manouver in small spaces and much lighter than other bulky machines I’ve had in the past. Powerful and simple to use.

I’m chuffed to bits with this carpet cleaner. I’ve put off getting one for years because they are usually such bulky machines to store & are so expensive to buy. This little machine is incredible. I haven’t cleaned my carpets in years & after using this they genuinely look like new. Not only are they beautifully clean, they have fluffed up. I have a hairy dog so I have to vacuum a lot & I could not believe how much hair the cleaner pulled out of the carpets. Pouring out the black water afterwards is SO satisfying. The carpets aren’t left soaking wet after using it either. It came with a small bottle of Vax platinum fluid which has left the carpets smelling fresh, but is not overpowering. Some reviewers have said that emptying the dirty water tank is a bit of a faff, but I can’t say I found this a problem. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner.

I have a mildly incontinent chihuahua who has urinated on my landing carpet. Manual cleaning didn’t help with the smell.This carpet cleaner did a great job of cleaning the carpet up there, and the smell has gone!Despite this being called a compact cleaner, it’s around the same size and weight as an upright vacuum cleaner, and the tank holds enough water to clean my landing without refilling.I have spinal disease, and still found this easy to maneuver. Much better than my last carpet cleaner! It doesn’t drag too much, and pulls up a good load of dirty water with ease, leaving the carpet clean and only slightly damp to touch.My carpet dried fully in around 5 hours after using.The dirty water it pulled up into the tank was absolutely shockingly filthy. A really dark brown! I can’t believe how much filth the cleaner removed! Now I want to do my other carpets!The only downside, is that it doesn’t feel like it’ll last. It’s not the best quality, especially when it comes to the tanks. They feel very cheap and quite flimsy.All in all, it’s great for the money.

I was expecting to be completely underwhelmed but took a chance on this as the reviews seemed good and a video a lady had posted of cleaning with it was impressive.It’s INCREDIBLE!!! I have long hair which seems to get everywhere, and cats, so my carpets have hair embedded in them that’s quite tough to get out with an ordinary vacuum. This machine has not only made my carpets look brand new, it’s also removed every trace of hair. I couldn’t believe it.The components of the vacuum do require to be cleaned out after (including unscrewing and really cleaning out the filters and brushes) but it’s totally worth it. The instruction manual is clear about how to do this so it’s fairly easy.It also came with a mini bottle of carpet cleaner that smells really nice and you don’t use very much of per clean.Love it, can’t recall the last time I was so thrilled with an appliance and can’t believe I’ve lived so long without it!! 😂

Needed my old cream carpet cleaned or should i replace it? Saw this Vax cleaner online and decided to buy it as it would of been around the same price as getting my carpet cleaned and could use it again if needed. It is a compact cleaner and was easy for me to use even though I have problems with arthritis.The carpet came up so good no need to replace at the moment! Was well pleased with it! Carpet was a bit wetter than expected but dried by the next day! Also used it to dry up water on a carpet after a plumbing issue!Overall a great buy!

This replaced an old Bissell cleaner that had died after many years. For under £90 this is superb. The water and cleaner go in the top cassette and the dirty water into the lower can. It’s the size of a normal vacuum cleaner. It works very well. One load will do about 150 sq ft once/twice. Drain off the dirty water but do this on a hard floor as it can leave a dirty mart which can be easily cleaned again. Front Y piece remove carefully with some force. To remove all pet hair etc with power off (!) slide your finger behind the roller and move it alone and then manually turn the roller anti-clockwise and hair falls out.A great buy – why wait?!
