The results are outstanding, I have used both the ‘High’ setting and the ‘Auto’ setting dependant on the meal. Excellent performance, a pleasing look. If you are seeking a smaller slow cooker then put this on the list for consideration.

We use this every 2 days, mostly to home cook our dogs food 🤣 But have used it on occasion for us for stews! So far it’s been so handy, and easy, the cooker base is very lightweight and easy to move. The ceramic bowl is a little heavy to clean but small enough to put in the bowl and wash! Colour also matches our pastel kitchen theme which I love 🌸

Excellent value. Retro style and colour look great in kitchen. Functionally, it does exactly what it says. Have used very successfully a few times for stews so far. Low or auto setting seems to be best for long slow cooking but booklet advises on conversion heat and times for your own existing recipes. Inner crock and lid go in dishwasher. No recipe book but so easy to look up recipes online these days. Control knob does feel a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the cooker as said in other reviews but actually it works fine. Generous sizing at 3.5 L means you can easily cook a meal for 4 ….or even 6 depending on appetites ! Surprisingly lightweight given robust look.

Every day I use a slow cooker to cook my vegetables stew,s. Prepare in morning for five hours cook time which is powered by my solar panels on the roof. Even on cloudy day you get enough KWH to run a slow cooker. I really like this retro model because they are simple to use just three settings on a simple dial switch. Especially suitable for old age pensioners and other,s less able. Highly recommended.
